Theme: Childhood Memories
This piece draws on childhood—its softness, its curiosity, and the joy found in handmade things. Patchwork, hand-stitched details, and mismatched buttons capture memories of play and comfort, while tender colors and rounded silhouettes convey a nostalgic warmth that invites you to feel like a child again.
Every stitch in this garment is a trace of my childhood—reconnected and sewn back into the present. I chose hand-stitching because it carries warmth: the slow, imperfect rhythm of making something with care. It feels like writing memories with thread, giving shape to the joy and innocence I once held close.
The playful mix of yarn colors and soft textures reflects the boundless creativity of a child—messy, curious, and full of imagination.
